Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

It’s that time of year! I love the fall!!

Apples, pumpkins, butternut squash, warm soup, autumn leaves, cooler weather, scarfs, beanies, boots, apple picking, pumpkin picking, apple cider, pumpkin pie, and all the spices!!! Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, allspice… also known by the masses as “PUMPKIN SPICE”… YES!!

I present to you… my Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie.

This is my go to when I’m craving the creamy sweet taste of a PSL, without all the added sugar, and in the form of a smoothie!

In fact, you can find my PSL recipe here

2 tbsp almond butter
1 frozen banana
1 scoop vanilla flavored vegan protein powder
2 pitted dates
1 tsp (or more!) pumpkin pie spice
1 cup pumpkin, canned (or pumpkin puree)

(add more water or some ice until you get the consistency you prefer! If you use FROZEN banana, you shouldn’t need any ice, but everyones preference is different)

Add all the ingredients and blend
Top with non-dairy whipped cream and dust with pumpkin pie spice
